Here are a few words from our new General Manager, Matt Anderson

“It’s a pleasure for me to join the Birthing Kit Foundation Australia team, and although it’s only been a few weeks I’m already getting to know the inspiring people that make this organisation what it is.  I’ve had the privilege of being involved in international development over many years with a variety of organisations, and the vision of making a difference to the lives of women and babies in vulnerable communities around the globe is one that I’m very glad to be a part of.

For the last 20 years or so I’ve been working in the social impact space with NGOs, as an organisational development and innovation coach, and in the last few years as the co-founder of – a large scale venture working with over 800 organisations and individuals from the business, government, technology, health, research and civil society realms to turn social and environmental needs into new global innovation and impact opportunities at scale.

In recent years I’ve been coaching multiple “For Purpose” organisations (both commercial businesses as well as non-profits) over a number of years to help them adapt to the challenges – and corresponding opportunities – of rapidly changing contexts.  As our rapidly changing world continues to be affected by a number of forces – including political, environmental, economic, social, technological, and the shifts in both public expectation and global demographics – we must continue to be bold in our thinking while all the while being firmly committed to placing the people who we exist for at the centre of everything that we do.

I look forward to seeing where this will lead Birthing Kit Foundation Australia, and to being part of our exciting future.”
